Dedicated SEND Session

A quieter afternoon session will be reserved for students in Years 11, 12 and 13 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Students can explore green careers, meet employers and take part in talks and workshops in a calmer environment.

Accessible routes and toilets are available. Please tell us about any reasonable adjustments your students may need.

It’s not often you find yourself in an auditorium full of 16–18 year olds, listening to a talk — and not one of them is on their phone. Not even the ones up on the balcony, who could’ve easily gone unnoticed.

The event was great – thank you again for the invite. Please keep us in mind for any future events.

There were lots of learners and it was good to talk with them about green skills and green futures, in particular there was lots of engagement so we were successful in talking about our courses but also raising awareness about green skills and retrofit

A fantastic day, lots of students expressing an interest in construction, engineering, project management and the likes, so we managed to get many registrations of interest for the courses starting in September. Also quite a lot of interest in apprenticeships and job opportunities but more importantly it was good to get the word out. The organisation and the venue are fantastic so we really appreciated it.
